Re:Form - Your Body is a new studio set up by Gina Richter, certified Pilates instructor and certified Structural Bodyworker.
Gina has more than 25 years’ experience working with movement, exercise and injury rehabilitation. Gina is a certified myofascial bodyworker, certified through Thomas Myers’ Kinesis Myofascial Integration (KMI) training program. Gina uses targeted deep tissue manual therapy in combination with stretching and strengthening exercises in her private rehabilitation sessions only for those with serious pain or injury.

Gina Richter
Gina’s interest in movement started when she studied dance as a child. At 18 she began practising Iyengar yoga and in 1986 became one of the first Iyengar yoga teachers to be certified by BKS Iyengar in Australia. Gina taught Iyengar yoga for 10 years at the Balmain Yoga Studio, one of the first yoga studios in Sydney, before discovering the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning.

Gina studied Classical Pilates in Sydney with former New York City Ballet dancer, Cynthia Lochard. She also studied in New York with Romana Kryzanowska. Romana was one of Joseph Pilates original proteges, now regarded as one of only six Pilates ‘Elders’ who worked directly with Joseph in his studio.

Gina attained her US certification in 1998. She established Powerhouse Pilates studio in 1999 and was director of the studio for 17 years.

Gina also studied injury rehabilitation and core conditioning using Swiss Balls with Paul Chek, American exercise therapist. She is a Level 1 Chek Practitioner.Gina is able to offer a unique combination of movement and manual therapy to her clients, giving them the best possible chance of healing, improving movement and posture and optimising their sense of well-being.
